If you would like to learn about the basics of grooming or how to groom your own dog we offer half and full day courses.
Half day course
This three hour course is ideal for those with small breeds.
Designed to introduce you to the basics of dog grooming you will learn about health checking, bathing, brushing out, drying, clipping, scissoring or hand-stripping.
Cost £150
Full day course
A full day’s tuition, running from 10am – 4pm (times can be flexible by prior arrangement), which is ideal for those with a large breed or those who want to learn about hand-stripping.
Owners will learn how to trim, groom and bath their own breed/type and learn basic care including:
Basic handling techniques
How to use different tools (brush, comb, scissors, etc)
Bathing and drying
Preparations and styling for your pet
Covering bathing, brushing out and basic grooming techniques, the aim of the day is to enable the owner to groom with confidence. If you are looking to learn how to groom your own dog then the 1 day course is for you. You will bring your dog with you and spend the day learning how to groom your dog to your own requirements.
